  • I'm confused. They bought it but it's still in your name?
  • The agent wrote a contract but never gave a copy. They paid the morage and utilities for two months and fixed up the home. Deal was they would buy it for the $125, (my loan pay-off) and then they would re-sell for more. I basically got nothing more than my pay off which was fine with me as home was a gift. Sounded great but now it is in the process of selling and it looks like I sold it for $180. I didn't, I think she should have paid me the $125 and then sold the home. I don't want to have to pay more taxes next year. I am afraid of the capitol gain.
  • I would report this realtor to the Real Estate Council. This realtor must work for a company and I would talk to her Broker (the office manager). She should have given you papers - please do this for your own peace of mind. Good luck.
