  • My preference would be: 1. Microwave 2. Disposal (to throw away uneaten microwaved food) 3. Dishwasher (you CAN hand wash your dishes until replaced!)
  • Dishwasher first, I hate hand-washing. Then garbage disposal if you seem to have a lot of waste that you can't compost. Microwave last, if you have a stove and oven to cook with.
  • The microwave. You can do the rest by hand almost as fast as the machine can do it, but a microwave cuts cooking time significantly.
  • The garbage disposal can wait. You can wash the dishes by hand(you use to, remember?) So, that leaves something your really use a lot everyday.........the mircrowave oven.
  • if it were me I'd go: 1. Microwave 2. Dishwasher 3. Garbage disposal
  • 1) Microwave; 2) dishwasher; and 3) garbage disposal. In the worst case scenario, the garbage can still go into the can or the recycler. It should be given last priority. The dishwasher IS important in present day society, but of course, you can wash dishes by hand (even though it is a horrible time imposition). BUT it isn't as great an imposition as trying to cook three meals a day (or whatever you cook) by hand, on the STOVE/ in the oven. In terms of time-saving, these are my suggestions.
  • The order you have them listed.
  • Microwave should come first, then dishwasher, followed by garbage disposal. You can always throw your trash in a garbage bin and wash your dishes for a while, but the microwave can cut down on cooking time and is really quite convenient, harder to get by without in my opinion.
  • Microwave is kind of important, then the dishwaser. You can manage without a garbage disposal for a while.
  • 1... Garbage disposal - Important! No Mess! 2... Microwave - Use the oven, or eat fresh... 3... Dishwasher - You can use the sink...
  • I'd go dishwasher, microwave, then garbage disposal. It's a bigger pain to wash dishes by hand than it is to use the oven to cook, and I don't even have a garbage disposal.
  • What are the odds of that happening again...........I'd have to go with the Microwave 1st. The garbage disposal 2nd and Dishwasher last....Dishwashers are way over-rated.
  • Save your money, scrap the broken items, and don't replace them. All three are optional items which you really don't need. Not a one of those is in my house. However, if need be to replace, go to Sears or the like and see about getting a deal if you purchase all three at the same time. May save a few bucks that way, also.
  • Dishwasher first. (Washing dishes sucks!!!)Also, why not get the most expensive thing out of the way first? Microwave next, and I know I could live without a garbage disposal, so that last.
  • For me, I'd replace whichever chore I need to have done the most. I rarely use the micro and never he disposal since I'm on a septic system, so it would be the dishwasher even though my husband loves to do them by hand, the strange man!
  • i agree with galenda which ever is most important to you if you could go without the microwave then do it if you could wash the dishes by hand then do it but i would really get the garbage disposal fixed first if you leave it (like i did once) it might get all nasty and start to smell bad i would get that fixed looked at or replaced first
  • Ok, I would replace in this order: 1. Microwave. Its the least expensive but the most convenient. 2. Dishwasher. Washing dishes by hand isn't that much of a chore really. I don't have a dishwasher and the only time I miss it is when I have company for dinner. 3. Garbage disposal. Very unnecessary appliance. This appliance is just for pure convenience.
  • microwave, dishwasher, garbage disposal
  • I'd replace them in this order: 1) Microwave - You probably use it more than either of the others. 2) Garbage Disposal - You can still wash dishes by hand, but now your trash won't smell so bad! 3) Dishwasher.
  • I go garbage disposal, then dishwasher, and I wouldn't worry about the microwave.
