I dont know if u will get any atheists to answer you q,im not atheist but i donot bellive in one almighty god,i have my own belif and are verry FIRM on that.

I reckon they don't get it, they can't comprehend not believing in a god, so for their own good and because they have no other choice, they settle at that conclusion.

As an atheist I am not against believes, but agents all that stupid things what is religion. I do believe something, but not God. I think it is more like destiny or something like that.

It's like telling them "Deep down you're all gay". How do you think a christian would react to that statement? Same as the atheists react to "Deep down you all believe".

I would listen to their point, then kindly explain to them that there is no way humanly possible that they could know that. I would then ask them to come up with a valid argument before wasting my day again. Besides, a better argument for theism would be one of the following: A man finds a watch. He thinks it is amazing in every way. He concludes that, as it is so complex, it must have been designed and made. In the same way, the world, which is even more complex, must have been designed. Saying the world just existed is like saying the watch just came into existence. And secondly, if we take the fact that evolution is true, then we humans have come about through natural selection. Yet we have a conscience, and a taste in art, music and literature, which are not essential to survival. If this is not so, how did we achieve this, unless something planned for us to have it? Look to the argument above if you believe it just happened. Now, I'm not a theist, but do you see what I'm getting at? Just telling someone that they believe in God deep down isn't going to convince anyone. But you managed to get me to write this much, so I'll rate your question up.

I grow tired of it. They have not lived my life, they do not have my experiences. I don't tell them that they are wrong. Just let me lead my life. I'll let them lead theirs.

It's part and parcel of being delusional, I guess. The beauty of religious faith is that it enables people to see things the way they want to see them and not as they actually are.
