.1million
-
probably over half, I'd feel to guilty not helping others or animals that I know could use it.
-
I couldn't!!! I would cry...they are soooo beautiful! I would want to keep them all!
-
None. Why would I give away money? That is crazy.
-
At least 10%.
-
Probably between a quarter and half, I would hope!
-
I'd give it all to you sweetie ha!
-
I'd give some to family and put the rest in the bank. A million bucks in this day really isn't that much money. I surely wouldn't think I was rich enough to go buy a yacht and give a bunch to charity.
-
250,000
-
All of it and remain free from stress
-
Half or a little more to animal charitys, if I could afford to give more then what I do now I would :)
-
I would share a very very large piece of it to family and friends. Keeping enough to pay off all currenet bills and investing some. +5
-
i dunno i would donate anything unless it was straight to the person or like per say the owner of a animal that needed the help . why you ask ? cause when i developed congestive heart failer at first it looked real bad and i was told to go ahead and get myself on a transplant list you know people donate hearts and kidneys n stuff upon thier death . Well im without insurance and i was told i had to come up with 250.000 to even be put on that list so there is no charity to it somebody somewhere is getting the dough sad thing is its not even the family of the donator getting anything its all Dr's and Hospital's and such .
-
Whatever i didnt spend trying to get myself and my family into a secure financial position......so im not sure - not more than half of it though :/
-
Probably very little if any, I believe charities help a lot of people but I feel they help the wrong people most of the time. If anything I would help someone out of my pocket rather then trust a charity to do it.
-
An unspecified amount to animal refuge centres. Animals are my passion. Some would go to my children, and the remainder would allow me to quit my job (much-loved can you tell lol), and do volunteer work instead - again for animal refuges and hospices.
-
25%
-
I'd donate every penny of it to the RiverRat party fund.
-
Almost half......in taxes.
-
IN AMERICA, IF I WON $1 MILLION, I'D HAVE TO PAY $666,666.66 FOR TAXES, THEN I'D USE THE REST FOR EQUIPTMENT TO PUT MY GLOBAL SOLUTION TO WORK IN THE NORTHWEST TO HELP ALL OF YOU BY= http://www.socyberty.com/Activism/First-Step-for-the-Solution-to-Globa
-
Why would I donate?
-
I figure the taxes they would take out of it would be a big enough "donation"..the rest I would keep for myself!
-
Won $10,000 on a tv quiz show once. Donated half.
-
None..honestly
-
I would share it with my family
-
I would help some family, friends, and some people I do not know(honestly). I do care for self happiness, but love to see others happy as well, that feels better
-
I'd keep enough to pay off my debts and finish grad school, and then give the rest to my family and friends, equally. I don't need a lot of money. I just want to finish my education stress free and then go from there.
-
I've not thought about it - but 10% seems enough.
-
I'll invest the millions on some businesses first, then i would just give enough to the make a wish foundation.
-
FIRST THE TAXES= $666,666.66 AND THAT LEAVES $333,333.34 TO PAY ALL DEBTS AND START MY GLOBAL SOLUTION. MY URL: http://www.inventube.com/ooojay/blog/ NICE THOUGHT. HAVE A NICE DAY. MIKE
-
LOL That's what they all say.... " Checks in the mail" ツ
-
None, well technically I'd be giving away all of it in time, some for college, some for upgrading my computer, some more for a place, and eventually use the rest of it on meaningless stuff.
-
Probably about half. I would likely buy myself a house and bank 50-100k. I'd donate at least 100k to the Sunrise 2 project http://www.sunrise-ev.com/ because I think it's cool. I'd probably donate a chunk of money to Canonical, the company that supports Ubuntu, and to the OLPC project. Basically I would try to donate enough that I wouldn't have to pay a large amount of taxes, because I would rather decide directly what to support rather than decide "representatively".

Charity begins at home first
-
Probably none... at least not at first.
-
Give away to who/what? If it's a clean million, all for me, then family and friends would probably like 10-20%, strangers or charity, I may spend like 5-10% and I would find a very personalized charity that gives somethign directly to the individuals involved. Maybe a coat/gloves/boots/feeding program for the destitute. Then the rest would be for me to invest and make more. I'd still have over half a million.
