In Event Match 51, is it possible to beat Giga Bowser with any character other than Jigglypuff?

I don't see why it wouldn't be possible with Jigglypuff... or any other character... You'd have to be REALLY good with Jigglypuff though... XP

I don't think so. Jigglypuff is the only character I could even come close to beating him as. Every one else just got blasted off the screen in seconds. I tried jigglypuff out of desperation and imagine my surpriss when his most worthless move blasted giga bowser off the screen in just 2 hits!! The only trouble then is beating ganondorf and mewtwo, which is pretty hard as jigglypuff, but if you try hard enough, ad have little bit of luck, you can beat them.

I beat Event Match 51 using Link, so I know it's possible. The best way to beat Giga Bowser as Link is to keep a distance from him, so you're out of range of his attacks, and keep hitting him with projectiles like bombs or arrows to get his damage up. One it's high enough, you can KO him with a spin attack. Beating this Event Match as Jigglypuff is way too easy. If you want it to be a challenge the way it's supposed to, you should use a different character.

yes you can with link or capt. Falcan but you will have difficulty with gannondorf though (his rigged jump attk). just use his jump kick attk. Jigglypuff is the blessing from the gods ^^ with his rigged sleep attk. only thing hard in that lvl is gannondorf
