  • nope. they are extinct. except the one from the geico commercial! :]
  • Do they? No Did they? While many try to argue that they didn't, there is in fact enough evidence to safely say that they did.
  • Yes I am sure that at one time people did live in caves. It makes perfect sense on the basis that when man first looked for shelter a cave would have been the easiest thing around to use. When they developed tools they could start building shelters.
  • I think the prehistoric cavemen were more animal like. Were not even people
  • Early humans did indeed exist who exhibited a lot of the common stereotypical attributes of the "caveman." Many archaeological sites within caves have discovered artifacts and remains of early humans, proving that they did to some extent occupy caves. Early humans could also make fire and it is commonly believed that they wore animal skins (although most of these decompose to nothing over time and thus can't be uncovered). As for carrying clubs and grunting at each other, I guess we'll never know.
  • Sure they did, and some people still live in caves today. http://www.cavehomes.co.uk/index.htm http://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mountain-cave-hotels-the-kokopellis-cave-bed-breakfast http://www.hgtv.com/hgtv/remodeling/article/0,1797,HGTV_3659_1641310,00.html http://www.escapeartist.com/OREQ11/Cave_Houses.html People in the bible even lived in caves. Where did Lott and his daughters live after his home town was destroyed.
  • If they didn't i dont know where we came from. Religion sadly disagrees. The bible never explains how long the first 7 days were, there wasn't any sunlight, no full earth, everything was still developing. This could also be a metaphor for evolution throughout the ages.
