Only if the pants have black stripes or stitching. Otherwise, you'll want to adhere to the black/brown not mixing rule.

I have seen mixed ensembles work. But the brown must be picked up in the scarf or other accessories. It also helps if there is a contrast in the black/brown colors. I.E. one light with the other dark. You complexion and hair color even enter the equation. Taking fashion risks can really fly or really flop. Test out this combo and get a first hand opinion.

absolutely. brown and black are both neutral shades, which means they go with anything. Please don't listen to these other people who are telling you to either wear all black or all brown. You can absolutely mix them and it will look just fine.
