Drivers: do you regularly run stop signs? I have one near my house, at a dangerous intersection, and EVERYONE seems to run it. I am on the street with right of way but find I have to stop for fear of the "runners" hitting me! :o(

Just spray paint the word "DONT" above the word stop. The drivers (and police) will get the message. Or call the police and complain and maybe they'll send an unmarked car to watch the intersection once in a while.

Perhaps a call to your local law enforcement agency might be in order. Perhaps even toward the end of the month when their ticket quota might not yet be filled. :o) I do not run stop signs. Not only do I live in a big city, but my brother bot T-boned seriously in HS by a driver running a stop sign.

We don't have stop lights, we have stop signs. I live in the country right off a gravel intersection and they do not stop. We are right after this sign and I am deathly afraid that someone is going to hit my kids because they fly right past it. Our road in front is pavement and they go at least 55 and up in front of our house, I have seen tons of ppl fish tailing because they won't slow down. We have brought it up, but short of them sitting there 24/7 they can't stop it, I guess when a child gets hit they will do something. Pathetic huh?

I've never run a stop sign or light and I always stop at streets and not do that annoying rolling stop. I hate those. Cars in the other direction have no idea if you are really going to stop or not.
