  • Why are some parents non-caring, hateful and cold to their children? Because it doesn't take brains or goodness to reproduce.
  • I guess they never learnt what it is to have compassion. I can only hope they learn real fast, give their kids to someone who cares and stop reproducing.
  • They were accidents.
  • because that is how their parents were to them. they just follow their role models, their parents.
  • It's usually because that's the way THEY were treated and they don't KNOW any other way. SOME parents will "turn it around" and treat their children differently, but when the only people they have to model their behavior (a Dr Phil description) after were noncaring, hateful, and cold, then it's much more difficult for many to KNOW any different. These "models" do NOT have to be parents, but the people who raised them when they were children.
  • Despite what some people thing being a good parent is something we learn not something we are born with. If we don't learn it from our parents we must learn it somewhere else. Some people either don't get or don't take advantage of that opportunity.
  • Maybe because their parents was noncaring and cold to them so they are repeating the pattern so it may continue from generation to generation.
