We used to have a few of these ringnecked doves, including the white variety. What usually happens when the get loose is they search out other captives of ringnecks or collared doves and hang out with them. There are huge flocks of these birds in California. I've never heard of them crossbreeding with mourning doves, but it might be possible. More than likely though it would search for it's own kind or the collared which are closer related to them.

More than likely no they won't. If they did the offspring would be mules and be sterile. Barbary doves are ringneck doves. Ringneck doves (especially the whites or lighter colors) would probably not survive unless there was some sort of human intervention.
