    If you are upgrading your existing service, you do not have to use the new SIM card that came with the phone. Just put your old SIM into the phone and it will work. If this is your first device with T-Mobile, you can call their automated voice response system to accept the terms and conditions and activate the SIM card. You do not need to speak with anyone.
