  • I picked one up yesterday and am trying it out. From the varying reviews on amazon.com, it seems that people either have success or total failure with no middle ground. It's too soon for me to tell one way or the other, but it was only $20 and I figure can be part of a whole package of attacks (spray, vacuum, kill on sight) that should get it done. They do seem a little too easy to be true. To me it's like this: I don't like clubs too much - too crowded, too much noise. But every once in a while I still go out. I can't figure that a bug would be much different. Especially since the thing confuses and repels, not kills. I did see a little weird bug on my wall yesterday. He seemed kind of confused (though maybe I just wanted him to be) and moved in a direction away from the repellers.
  • I have been using the ultrasonic variety for many years (long before they became popular)specifically for my dogs and cats flea control (I don't like a chemical collar on their neck or absorbed into their skin. I swear by them in disagreement with my long time veternarian. I do not and have not since I started using them throught the house had a flea problem. I can't vouch for any other pest because they were of no concern to me.
