Does it bother you that you no longer have to sign when you use your credit card? Why or why not?

i work at a resturant, and we make them sign the recepits, but dont check for id?? and at the grocery store they dont either. i think its freaky...

I love not signing just enter my pin number and off i go.

When it benefits me.. I love it. I have sent friends in the store to use it, my boyfriend.. you name it.. but then I will gripe that they do not even check i.d. when I take the time to worry over how easy it could be for someone to rob my account. We have digital meters and no longer have meter readers with our electric company.. all the new technology is raping job security.. guess we get what we ask for. Bummer It is embarrassing how lazy, dependent and out of shape in so many areas we have become

Its hard to contest a false charge when you can't compare signatures. PIN numbers on debit cards are hard to guess, but just picking up a card using it, no ID, no signature, kinda bothers me. I write check ID on the back of my cards, people look and swipe hand me back the card. I want to get one of those people. Have someone else use my card, then go back and talk to the manager. Like look, someone else used my card, and she let them. Pisses me off.
