  • BE CAREFUL! Shoats and Gheep are very dangerous animals!
  • yes they can breed a billy(male goat) with a ewe(female sheep). the result is actually called a geep.
  • http://xo.typepad.com/blog/2008/02/sheep-goat-geep.html apparently this is the result
  • A sheep-goat chimera (sometimes called a geep in popular media) is a chimera produced by combining the embryos of a goat and a sheep; the resulting animal has cells of both sheep and goat origin. A geep should not be confused with a sheep-goat hybrid, which can result when a goat mates with a sheep. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Geep i think you will find a geep isnt a prduct of mating, more of scientific modification. This is what happens when a sheep and a goat mate: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sheep-goat_hybrid thanks anyway
  • I heard they are called geeps but it does sound rather bizarre. http://www.time.com/time/magazine/article/0,9171,921546,00.html The result should be a shoat since it sound better. Here's a picture of Lisa.
  • They say it can be possible but that most die as embryos or at birth. But it is exceptionally rare. They result from the natural matings of a goat and a sheep. They are NOT called geeps. Geeps are a different kind of mixture of a goat and a sheep. They are artificially created by humans. It is when a goat embryo is fused with one from a sheep. It doesn't make a hybrid. The poor animal has different parts from each, but none are combined. It's gross! It was first done in Australia in the 80s.
