You're reading Cellphones nowadays keep packing on new features for every design update. They only have basic calculators now. Why don’t cellphones have scientific and graphing calculators yet?

(Basic) Calculators are generally included in the cellphones for free. If these regular calculators can be installed in them for free, so should graphing calculators as well.

Maybe, but again, who would use them? And, how many more cell phones would they sell.
I took a statistics class in about 1990 and used a regular calculator and a long method of getting my answers rather than learning a scientific calculator because of the costs and the fact that I probably would not use this knowledge again.
