We got notification from Verizon (our phone/internet provider) that they are "upgrading" everything using fiber optics. Last week for three days the jackhammers were out in force on our street, digging it up, putting "stuff" down, covering it over. "They" said this upgrade might impact our service and gave us a number to call...however, when the phone is on the fritz, having a phone number is kinda useless. So..you called? I wonder how many others have called about which we know nothing! :(
