well i've never done it on purpose but i had this one dream where i was touring w/my fav band but i knew it wasn't real very depressing.

I find that it happens more when you experience emotional extremes during the day....doesn't matter if they're positive or negative emotions, I guess. It's not, like, the rule or anything, but that's the way I remember it happening.

its a tough question to answer. sometimes i get so close to realizing i am dreaming in my dreams but i miss it and just go with the flow. I get involved with something that is clearly dream material but i just skip over it and follow thru with the dream. sometimes i see myself in the dream, and i dont get it. I was wearing undershorts in one dream and i still didnt catch on that i was dreaming. I think the answer lies in meditation twice a day. because meditation is like being asleep only you are awake. and sleeping is being asleep and we want to be awake. twenty minutes a session, twice a day, i think that is the answer to waking up in your dreams.
