  • You are always free to voice your true political, economic, etc opinions but make sure they are based on facts. Too many Liberals (Democrats) don't like war, as no one should, but don't understand the need for it. Don't just start banging a drum to a cause. And if you truly feel the need to 'bang a drum' against your country, make sure it's actually worth doing. You may not agree with 'war' but taking Saddam out and putting pressure on Iran (who has threatened most of the world with death last year) was a good thing. On another note, over the last 5 years, the USA has seen ***LESS*** yearly troop deaths than nearly any years between WW2 up to the mid 1990s. And we won a war during that period. So we're doing pretty well.
  • They do voice their true opinions. Just so happens most are in agreement to sacrifice some freedom for more security.
  • I once had a phone call asking me who I was going to vote for in a local Mayor election. I responded with 'that is none of your business'. Why do we go through such lengths to keep the ballot private then, grab a McCain or Obama pin and stick it to ourselves? Sometimes people are just not well informed, other people dont trust the information out there, and other times discussions about political, economic, etc...situations are futile. Both people, if they are willing to discuss it have very fixed opinions and neither one will sway the other. Its usless. Listening to both sides of the radio, Dems and Reps, all they do is slander, lie, and make stupid sound bites about the other side that make them look bad. Why talk about a political subject when the foundation has been skewd to a point that neither one really knows what they are talking about?
