NO. Just because you got ruffed up doesn't change the fact that you were driving under the influence. And if you were running your mouth you weren't being to cooperative, if you would have just been quiet it would have been easier.

NO..i highy doubt it...but, anything is possible in life. Cops usually win 99.9% of the time and all that happens to you is you get stressed out trying to fighting it. You would need some pretty good proof to win that one and i am sure you do not have it on camera.

I don't think so, cops get away with mostly anything.

The fact you were driving drunk still stands. Don't look for those charges to be dropped. You could have actually been charged with resisting arrest, even just for running your mouth. You can file a complaint if you truly feel they used excessive force, but keep in mind you were under the influnce. Your recollection of the incident may be marred. If you have bruises, take picutres and file a complaint.

The cops beat my brother up pretty badly for no reason. He had a broken thumb and had to go the emergency for head x-rays. The cops got off scott-free. They do this because they know they can, with impunity. I'm surprised you only have bruises on your back, sounds like you got off lightly. Maybe there were extra jelly donuts at the shop and the cops were in a good mood that night.

I'm guessing probably not. Even if you did try to press charges it would probably be pretty difficult. Think about it. You're charged with a DUI, so you were legally drunk. You're testimony probably won't seem too convincing.
