If you met a soldier on leave from Iraq or Afghanistan in a bar, how would you react towards them?

I have friends over there. I feel for them. I too was in the military.

I'd say hello and thank you. Then I'd buy them a beer.

The same way as I would any other person. I probably would be unaware of the military position anyway. But I guess i may avaoid talking about to war, I'm against it and think they should be brought home, although that isn't the soliers' fault, I still wouldn't want to cause offence.

I'd buy him/her a drink it's the least they desearve,they did'nt choose to go to war there just doing there job.
