ive had to many bad experiences with motorcycles i would definatly choose a car. if you like to wind blowing in ur face buy a convertible. lol

Riding a motorcycle isn't about economy. My 1400cc gets only 28-30 MPG. Smaller scooters can get much better...up to 40 MPG. It's kind of like a boat. You don't buy one because its cheaper to get from Miami to Key West. You buy a boat, or motorcycle to experiance "the Journey" and not neccessarily the destination.

There's a lot more reasons to ride a bike than fuel consumption. I drive a car, but bikes have that appeal, the adrenaline they must produce must be thrilling, and riding some of Britain's country roads (namely Hartside pass) would definately be an experience

for general transportation I would pick a car. Bikes are fun and I would own one only for enjoyment.

i like four wheels under me. a motorcycle is fun for exploring.

I hate motorcycles, and would never, EVER get on one. However, some of those little Vespas get way more than 42 mpg.

Most bikes will get 50mpg or more. Toys? Not really. A scooter will get you 85 mpg and a big horsepower bike is like riding a 200mph rocket. I drive them all and the biggest danger for all bikes and cycles are drivers, the largest cause of 2 wheel accidents.
