I planted a red maple tree 4 years ago, It comes out nicely every year, why is it not growing any bigger?

If it is an (acer)maple the size will be from 20 to 30 ft. Do you use fertilizer? if not you might try that during the growing season put 2 ft holes around the drip line of the tree space them 20to 24" apart dilute first and water in well.

Many trees kind of have a growth spurt like we do. Lots of them start really growing around 4-5 years. Don't forget to fertilize it well.
