I don't understand your question, binary..do you mean that a gay male would like to be engaged in some kind of physical altercation with a straight male but can't because the straight male will not want to fight him? Do guys really go looking for fights with other guys? I thought fights just erupted for whatever reason..and, of course, I'm neither gay nor male, but it seems to me that the exact opposite happens..one reads about gays being attacked by straights without provocation, so your question confuses me. no, i think that some gay men can be really defensive from so they come off as antagonistic from a rough past of homophobic or malicious people. and some gay guys take on the bitchy girl stereo type so they can be very antagonistic by just being hella rude and being overly critical

I do not see your question as an attack: I see it as a straight guy seeking information. I am a bisexual male so I am semi-qualified to answer your question. I do not treat gay men, bisexual men, or straight men any different unless I happen to be interested in someone with like interests (I would NEVER consider making advances towards a straight man... that is rude). I am more likely to discuss similar experiences with gay or bi men, however, I enjoy talking with straight men just as much. The gay and bi men I have known do not react towards straight men with hostility, however, that might just be myself and my friends. I tend to associate with non-bigots and I would consider prejudice of gay men towards straight men just as bigoted as the reverse. I do not understand the basis of your question, however. Most gay and bi men would be less likely to antagonize a straight man because, firstly, gay/bi bashing is such a problem and, secondly, showing hostility is going to make our "rep" worse. I could imagine that some might have a chip on their shoulder due to discrimination and, yes, I have heard tales of anger and told some myself. However, I have not, myself, seen what you describe within my circle of friends. I do not know if that answered your question and please feel free to ask me for clarification.
