  • Ok, I don't know if this is the same thing, but I have these spots that are on my back and arms only. They kind of look like ringworm, when they go away I am left with white spots(I call them whiteouts) The dr told me they are a form of bacteria that everyone has on their body, but some ppl just react differently. So they gave me some ointment that was for like jock itch(who knows) that didn't work, so they put me on anti biotics. That didn't work either. The meds were the strongest thing they could do for me. I am going to a different dr because they are not getting better. I haven't found any way to get rid of the whiteouts yet. They don't itch or anything, but the dr said the bacteria disease only goes on your arms and back no where else. I don't know if this is the same thing you have or not, but I go on wed. to the dr and will let you know what they say, if you want. Holler at me.
  • to cover the marks you could use a type of makeup like people use to cover up scars & burns etc. http://www.dermablend.com/tipsfromthepros.aspx http://youtube.com/watch?v=iysryfY8Rz8&feature=related Shopzilla.com/Cosmetics I have a friend who has a condition where her skin is loose the pigment in it, instead of nice soft brown skin she has big white spots every where on her arms, hands, chest and there's not much to be done for her except what I have told you as that is what she does, only her closest friends know.
