Burning to death. I want to die a peaceful death,like dying in my sleep.

Stoning (or other kinds of torture) would have to be right up there at the top, burning (but if it's not at the stake you can always hope the smoke would get you before the flames), a livestock stampede would suck if you were under it, and beaten to death would really hurt. I want to go in my sleep when I'm too old to enjoy life anymore.

Being told by you doctor you only have 20 minutes to live but have a house-full of naked women about 45 minutes drive away...

Dying during labor. I would like to die either having sex or in my sleep.

Probably death by burning. If we're being practical that is. I'm sure there are a thousand other horrific ways that only qualify for Hollywood. If I had to choose... At a ripe old age, my kids well off, my wife well loved and taken care of, in my sleep, in my own bed; not a hospital. Then if again we're not being practical, I'd jump out of an airplane dressed in a superman costume. Everyone would see the last son of Krypton run out of air. =]

I would have said the most painfull way to go would be bleeding to death, it can take hours, and I can't imagine the feeling. Personally, I'd like to pass away in my sleep when I'm 88.

I think drowning or suffocation would be the worst. Freezing to death would be ok.

I think the way William Wallace (Scotland) went would be the worst. They cut a whole in your stomach and take your insides out a little at a time, all the while you're on a rack being pulled. You don't die for a looong time. People watch and cheer. Then they cut your limbs off and put your head on a stake, everyone can see. I'd like to go in my sleep when Im 95!
