I think it may have taken a downfall in recent years because of the Internet, but is still strong enough to come up with things people can always get into, like TV reality shows and stuff like that. I don't think it's coming to an end, but its glory isn't what it used to be.

I hardly watch. And even if I turn it on I'm usually doing something else at the same time. Rarely do I sit down to "watch" TV.

G'day Nick, Thank you for your question. Yes and no. While television is still popular, it is not as dominant as it once was. This is particularly the case with network television which has lost ground to cable in recent years. However, the Internet has become a blend of many media including television. Youtube and other video sites are very popular and video is becoming integrated into news stories with many media sites putting video of news stories online. Regards
