  • At 14, I see no reason not to get a tragus (or tragui) piercing because it's attractive and socially there's no complications because it's not your face or anything. Pretty much any piercing on your ears you can get away with. As for the pain, I won't lie. It hurt, but it wasn't horrible. And really it only lasts for 2 seconds or less. For the head phones, I suppose it just really depends on what kind of jewelry you put in there. If it's a CBR, then that would probably be a little more uncomfortable than if it was a stud. While it's healing you should only use over-ear head phones though, so that may be what they're talking about. My advice: if you're getting them both done, do one at a time. I did mine at the same time, and I sort of regret it. I sleep on my sides so it's a real pain to try not to sleep on them, it's a no-no since it irritates the piercing and delays healing. Also, keloids are a notorious for tragus piercings because of how thick the cartilage is and therefore more easily traumatized.
  • I have my tragus pierced. Yes it hurt a little but others hurt more, much more. The headphone thing, never had a problem with it, but I wear a micro.
  • It's always best to walk into a shop knowing you won't have regrets, or at least being pretty sure. Yes, piercings aren't as permanent as tattoos, but they are a commitment and can leave scars. So go ahead a wait a year or two. You might find that as time passes and it's less popular, you want it less. Or you may find that by the time no one else wants them, you want one more than ever. Your ears aren't leaving, you can always pierce them when you're sure.
  • I REALLY WANT MYZ 2..but my mom said no :(
  • Mine didn't hurt at all. as for headphones , personally i think coverears are SO much better than the inner ones... so i don't have a problem with it :) Goodluck whatever you choose to do!
