  • I had both my nipples pierced and I was able to breastfeed. The only thing that stopped me was because it was actually making me sick. But the milk came out just fine, my daughter had plenty to feed on.
  • im 18, i have both of mine done. you can still breast feed. youre only 16, so you most likely have a while before you need to consider that. you can take them out for the feeding when the time comes (recommended so as to avoid them coming out in baby's mouth). or you can take them out when your pregnant and let them heal over, then get them redone. your choice, and a ways off, so just enjoy for now :)
  • The answer is (according to my doctor): If you have your nipples pierced one time, the chances of not being able to breastfeed are very low. However, if your piercings are rejected and you repierce them or just repierce them for any reason, the chances of not being able to breast feed increase with each piercing. The problem is, multiple piercings and removals in the same area cause scar tissue to block the milk's passage through the glands and out the mother's nipple.
