Is ANYONE happy with the actor the producers picked for Edward in the twilight movie?

eh he is ok... at first i hated it! but then i watched the movie trailers and he looks pretty good. still not who i would have chosen tho. it should of been gaspard ulliel. but pattison will do..maybe..probably not but ya know.

i guess he will be okay, but he's the best we've got. i didn't like him at first, but i got over it, considering there is no human being on this planet who is perfect enough to play the lovely edward cullen. he'll do.

I dont think anybody could ever be a great edward. Stephanie Meyer left his discriptions to a minimum so we all have different pictures of him in out head. I personally would rather have Gaspard Ulliel play him and Steven Strait play Jacob Black [even though he is to old for Twilight]

For many who've watched the Harry Potter movie, HP "Cedric Diggory," ain't first choice, but lets see if he (actor) can pull off the role first as Edward... I could've been happy with Jonathan R Meyers, as Edward Cullen! :)

Nope. They were going to film it at my school, but they ended up changing it to a school a few miles away. It will be trippy to watch a movie that was filmed there. Anyway. I dont like him. His deep voice is too forced. "How old are you?" (sounds like imitating a sixty year old smoker) "17" "How long have you been 17" (tries even deeper) "A while" .. its lame.

I think he will do a great job at playing Edward. I'm sorry, but people need to get over it, if they picked someone else to be Edward, people would still get mad because it's not the way they imagined Edward. We can't just take someones imagination and create a person. We have to deal with the choices that we have. And I think Robert will do great playing the part.

It's not exactly how I pictured him when I was reading the books. But I think he will do great. Now what really upsets me is the actor for bella. are you kidding me??? She isn't anything like the book Bella. Her shaky voice when she said "yo-ur skin is ice cold" What in the world were they thinking

I am extremely happy. I think Robert will do an excellent job. It is nice that he is had previous experience working in an other fantasy movie.

Nope, he's all wrong. I've read the books (bought breaking dawn today with my chanukah money), but probably wont see the films, as they never do books justice. IMO Steven Strait would have done a nice job

Nope, but I'm also not happy with who the picked for Bella, Charlie, Renee, Rosalie, Emmett, Jacob, or pretty much anyone. The only ones I liked were Alice, Esme, and Carlisle.

I liked the casting of Twilight. I think they should have picked a better Rosalie because she was not as "pretty" as the book describes her but Edward and Bella I thought had a lot of nice chemistry together. I thought it turned out well, however, I hear rumors that the next movie will not have all of the same actors which I think will ruin the whole movie sequel.

My best friend is very happy - she thinks he's gorgeous. And he is, to an extent. Every time I looked at him, I just thought "bahaha, it's Cedric Diggory!"

I didn't think he was extremely attractive, however he was an amazing actor. The best in the movie. On that account I can see why they picked him.

I actually read the books after seeing the movie because I loved the movie so much. Of course Robert Pattinson does have his downpoints, he's the only person I could see as Edward. Probably because he was the first one I did see.

First of all, his name is Robert Pattinson and he is British. He was SO good in the movie. All of my friends and I think he is AWESOME!!!! Although Kristen Stewart (Bella) was horrible and I ate her.

No i thought that they could of got somone better as in real life he is so DAM UGLY also in the book bella says he looks so beautiful like a god BUT NO OFFENCE TO U RPATZ FANS HE DOES NOT LOOK LIKE A GOD. i also thought that he did not suit the personality for edward i personly like the books beter as i read them before i seen the movie AND I AM WITH JACOB I AM WARM AND FRIENDLY NOT COLD AND A STALKER. but i have to say that in the harry potter movies he did a good job and suited the character but in twilight new moon eclipce and breaking dawn its just funny
