If you mean my community support warden he's probably conveniently turning down the road before the one where there's trouble, and threatening to call the police on some kid sitting on a wall

They are in a "call and respond mode". They don't patrol anymore. Friggin' great.

My old one didn't like me, but he got promoted sideways and the new one is actually nice... a few months ago some kids knocked be over and stole my ipod and my cane... bastards, but the copper drove past, thinking I was either drunk or stoned for obvious reasoning... a grown man with blood on his face lying on the floor failing to get up, so he got out to talk to me and found I was neither drunk or stoned, instead disabled and robbed, he drove me to the hospital and waited while I got stitches, then, as the NHS actually are mental and evil and they wouldn't, he drove me home and called my only friend to come watch me, explaining the situation and waited till he got here. He then took my statement and found the kids for me... they'd already flogged my stuff but it was my pride that was the most sour, not my wallet... h comes round for poker nights... bless rob rob the cop. his names Robert if you hadn't guessed. He hasn’t yet beaten me… in fact he owes me £30, lol.

Sitting, hiding in his car, waiting to catch a hard working person going 5 miles over the speed limit, busting teenagers chops about hanging out, bumming the merchants for free food, and just in general, being assholes.

Don't have one, or two. We only have State Troopers that occasionally stop in town or drive through. And then I think I have only seen them drive up our road twice in 4 years. There is just no crime here much, though we did have an escaped prisoner from more north and he came and hid in this area. Even stole one of my friend's trucks, hid in their barn. The bad guy killed one cop but they finally got him.
