If they're changing states then they should pay for the move but I just recently moved into a new building which is about a 1/4 of a mile from the old one and I got jack squat.......

Aren't they already getting paid for their time? What other compensation do you have in mind? :)
-
If you not required to work over time then I see no reason to additionally compensate you.
-
Yes. They should be allowed to keep their job ... at least until the next RIF.
-
Yes certainly, you poor dear. They should reward you with a plush Ergonomic Micro suede leather fabric oversized seat with a sculpted back cushion providing comfort and lumbar support. And if they really cared, they would get you one in "True Black" for all that they have put you through.
-
no. why should they? if the company is downsizing it's so that they can keep you employed....aren't you just happy you have a job? Also if they are moving to another building, a larger one it's because the company is growing...again, good for your company and good for you PS my dad is a company owner/we all work for him. Total bias

Yes. They should give them their regular paychecks. Change happens - people should be used to it if they are adults.

I know of no law that mandates more than your normal "compensation", your paycheck. On the other hand, if they are moving far and/or value your contribution, nothing stops them from offering something extra.
