I have been on this site for well over a year, and read entries from many years past, and I see very little change. I cannot understand why people talk about the so-called good old days where there were no trolls. That is just nonsense. They have nearly always been here. (I say 'nearly' because in the first few months or so, a select few people were here, and trolls had not yet discovered it). Read some of the blogs from years past, with their comments. Except for the number at the end of the date, you could substitute most of it for 2008 just as easily. Look at this one from exactly one year ago: http://www.answerbag.com/q_view/292800

perhaps yahoo answers has placed an ad for answerbags to get some of their members to bleed over.

I just assume judgmental trolls come with any community. You can't eliminate stupid.
