  • Even though the term isn't intended to describe websites, I think it is very applicable. Every company seems to feel the pressure to make things bigger and better. Even if the site provides an excellent service and does it well, that just isn't enough. They have to keep on adding new stuff and "improving" things until they lose sight of what made it great in the first place. Google has made a name as a search engine. They keep developing things and now have a long list of products that have nothing to do with searching. http://www.google.com/intl/en/options/ I never use Yahoo! anymore because the front page is so busy. The search box is crammed in there like it's an afterthought.
