Celebrites should stay in show business and out of politics. Both areas seem to go together.....both are fantasy worlds.

I don't know what it does, but I don't think it should matter either way. They are citizens, they have a right to speak out, they have a right to get involved..they are no different from you and me. Just because we make them famous doesn't mean they have to give up their rights as citizens in return! :)

I think it does neither. I think people like to pretend it does but in the long run they still buy their movies and help pay their salaries.

I don't watch movies based on the politics of the stars, directors and producers. I think all citizens have the right to express their political views and support any candidate or cause they wish. I don't vote on candidates or issues based on celebrity endorsements, since celebrities have no better idea of what is best or right than anyone else does. In my opinion, it neither hurts nor helps celebrities to be involved in politics.
