  • This is yet another argument against what is said in most "religious" works.
  • Because 'god' isn't real, the universe was not made for us and does not metaphorically revolve around us, and we are just a product of evolution according to the all the laws of nature that apply to earth.
  • I can't believe that both answers before me missed the point. WE are not the centre of the universe: God is. The point is: HE can see them, even if we can't.
  • why do you believe god made them.?
  • How do you know you'll never see them? The universe is going to be around for a very long time, your spirit is immortal, and God has alot of plans still to unfold.
  • The stars and planets are fragments of the big bang. We can see them, it's just getting to them is the trick.
  • For exploration and to keep us mere humans in wonderment and awe of His power and majesty. Each new "discovery" brings with it excitement, more questions and more exploration. I have studied Astronomy for years and it never gets boring or old.
