depends if its a blind/blindish date or if you know the person a bit. if you know them, ask them questions about things you know they like. if you dont know them, ask them their interests, personal opinions on current events, and other stuff that helps you get to know them better. either way, you need to show interest in them and show that you like talking to them and want to hear wat they have to say. if you do, they should show you the same interest and ask you about yourself.
