  • Do the research... read everything you can on Wicca and decide. Only you can decide what is the right path for you.
  • Keep your eyes open, look for the one that works.
  • You don't have to necessarily stick to a religion. You can almost "create your own" and choose your own beliefs if the things you want to believe in don't fit any other religion's criteria.
  • listen if you want to go into magic: there is only one correct choice their are or aren't gods/goddesses their is or isn't magic . ps wicca is about as close to nature as any other religion, it is all about manipulation (not natural)
  • Combine the beliefs that fit you. If you do not believe in gods or magic, it is hard to be part of a religion that does. That does not mean you can't be spiritual, and in connection with the Earth. You do not -need- to be part of any organized religion. Follow what you, personally, believe.
  • Cut straight to the source.http://www.angelfire.com/empire/serpentis666/HOME.html Give it an honest shot and you will not be let down. ;-)
  • try reading about Mind. well never mind i'll just tell you. you only need to know three things. 1-everyone is equal [no priestess or preachers.] 2- the only law in this religion is "to learn" 3- you can follow anything you believe and be right[beliefs are called anything you want them to be called mine is "what is" and when you join Mind you are a Mind] and you're free to do whatever you want. or follow whatever you want. knowledge is great and that is what we all tell each other because even though there are no priestesses or preachers there are people. and people end up preaching to each other any ways and that's how belief travels.
  • Buddhism is a faith that does not pray to any god. They are extremely spiritual though in their beliefs, and they say that we are all one collective being, or god, meaning that all us together, with the earth and every other living thing (plants included) embody god, or the creator.
  • Do you have to have a religion? If not then you can just be someone who is nature focused and accepting. Everyone has a calling for their own individual spiritual path. Meditate deeply and find out what is right for you - it could very well be that you do not need a religion, but instead just a better definition of who you are. If you feel you still would like to belong to a group that holds these tenets as high priorities I know a few people who just call themselves Pagans or NeoPagans and don't get any more specific than that.
  • Perhaps you would be better off as an eclectic Pagan. Pagans don't necessarily perform or believe in magic like Wiccans do, although some pagans choose to study spellcraft. And the belief in God or Gods can vary from person to person--some follow a specific pantheon (i.e. Greek or Celtic deities), some believe in a Goddess and her God consort, and others may believe in simply a Divine being or force. Living in harmony with nature (including other human beings) and exhibiting responsibility toward the environment are important to modern pagan philosophy.
  • There are a lot of personal benefits to learning about Christianity. The Bible contains a lot of wisdom and solutions for just about anything that could go wrong with your life. It has been a great comfort and source of inspiration for me. And there is nothing in the Christian religion that would prevent you from your enjoyment of and respect for the earth. Christian churches like for their members to do missionary work, so may you could volunteer to start a youth and young adult group at church and meet weekly to teach them about nature and the environment. Most Christian churches like to "fellowship," so it is a great way to make friends. You don't have to believe in God to attend the church services, but while you're there, you might hear some things that you will want to explore on your own and find out more about God. If the church you go to trys to cram God down your throat, you should look for a different Christian church that is more respectful of your wishes. The church I belong to is very low key in this respect.
