A white New York cop harassed a black motorist who turned out to be the highest uniformed black officer on the force. With their police force under investigation for racial profiling, is this an embarrassment or what?

It does not surprise me.The NY city cops have had a history of doing underhanded things and have be caught doing this and worse things over the years.I thought they were there to protect ,not harass innocent citizens regardless of colour.

Much embarrasing for them. When Montreal Canadians won a national hockey game, (even though they will soon be eliminated,) the fans took to the streets of Montreal and rioted. Stores broken into, cop cars destroyed, riot police barely handling the situation...embarrasing for us. Why are people the way they are?--this world is run and controled by idiots.

yes its very embarrassing and just shameful i think every race should be treated the same you should treat others(all others) the way you would want to be treated even when pulling them over just goes to show you that you should never mistreat someone because you never know who they might turn out to be

haha! about time something like this happened. The police have become too secure in their authority and oppressive tactics. Every day we hear about police hitting, battering, tazering people. There are some good people on the force out there but there are also a lot of power drunk bullys who prey on citizens. It's about time something like this happened. Now if only they would punish the guy instead of just putting him on paid leave like they always do to half of these losers. No offense to the good hard working officers of the law intended
