  • Yes you do have to wait and it can take a few months to even get the appointment with the psychologist. Word of warning though, don't get your hopes up unless they are very noticably uneven as they are reluctant to perform a breast augmentation nowadays for free on the NHS just because they are small, even though that itself CAN be mentally scarring. I tried to get it done twice on the NHS to no avail and my boobs or lack of depress me, it makes you feel less of a woman and completely inadequate. I wish you the best of luck. Sam
