  • No. But, it is not sex-ed that causes teens to act this way. It is parents. We had sex-ed in the '50s and teens did not act this way. Parents are lazy and don't encourage kids not to act this way. It disgusts me because of how many lives have been ruined, dreams crushed, all because of lazy parents.
  • Sex has always been tempting. There may not have been sex education (as when I was young) but the lust, the temptations, the wonderment of what the opposite sex was like, etc. was all there. Society has always been a damper on the freedom of sex for teens (as for anyone) with it's conventions and taboos and religions values. They may not always have talked about it, but they still did it. Yes, There were many marriages where the first child was born in less than 9 months. Very few of them now.
