How do you remove and install the manual transmission on a 1999 Chevy S-10 with a 2.2L engine?

grab a chilton manual or a haynes manual. Check ebay they are cheap or go to your auto parts store..

step one: raise the vehicle off the ground.
step two: support the vehicle securley on jack stands.
step three: locate the transmission.
step four: take the biggest sledge hammer you can find and bash the transmission with it until it falls out from underneath the vehicle.
to install the transmission its the same just reverse order
