How long do you think that "new relationship" euphoria usually lasts before it wears off?

Generally, I think the "Honeymoon Phase" lasts around 3 months. Some people, like myself, however, get really lucky, and the new relationship euphoria is there well and truly past the early stages.

I was reading an article that says its there for 9 months..which it lasted for me...Apparently it's a genetic thing...long enough to make a baby, and stay with the mother, and care for her. Then it wears away, so the 2 will actually pay attention to the child they have
