yes. absolutely. of course, you have to find the right person, and not lead them on, blah, blah, blah... there's no better way to get over it, or at least distract yourself for a while, than to get back on the horse (so to speak.) ride 'em cowboy!

not intentionally, but sometmes when your really hurt you just want attention from anywhere, ya know. but been there done that, over it

Yes. Mabie not that much at first tho.

Probably not right away and not intentionally but it sometimes happens and in a stange way, kind of helps. You focus your attention on someone else and the attention you receive sometimes makes you feel better. I guess it all depends on the situation though.

nah I usually drown myself in alcohol and feel sorry for myself long enough to get over the crushing blow to my fragile self esteem for a good month or 3. Then of course I find I have even less confidence and fear of rejection only stunting my ability to flirt even more.

I say most definitely! It always distracts me for a while and who knows what will happen. You're free finally. ROCK ON!

After something of that nature occurs, I usually clam up and concentrate on work/school/other facets of life in order to forget about the past relationship. I don't want to (accidentally or not) get in another relationship until I know I'm ready and over my previous one.
