Do you drink milk or orange juice directly from the 1/2 gallon carton? Why or why not?

I did all the time on my bachelor days. Not so much now, if I know what's good for me ; )

i dont drink from the carton because people dont like it. If it were my own then I totally would. take out the middle man (the glass)

with people in the house or not, yuck. get a glass, thats just unsanitary. think of all the germs on that will build up on that lid. did someone say backwash? not me im getting a glass lol.

Sometimes i just want a sip, not a whole glass. So that's when i drink straight from the carton, instead of dirtying a glass i'll just have to wash later. I live alone though, so there's no one to get angry at me when i do it, lol.

Even when I lived alone I couldn't palate it. I had to put it in a glass because the idea of backwash in my orange juice or milk for days disgusted me. I have been known, however, when the carton or jug or 2-liter bottle has less than a glass left in it to drink the rest from the container rather than waste a glass.

Orange juice yes, it is delicious. Milk no, makes me poop.

I live alone, and usually drink the OJ in sips through out the night. Rather than dirty every glass in the house, I drink from the carton.
