Because that would only happen if He took away our free will. The only way to enforce world peace would be to zombify the entire planet. Yes, zombify is a word. Look it up.
-
I doubt people pray for that the most, but he might answer them. He might not solve the problem, but he answers them.
-
If I remember correctly, all the world uniting under one common banner is a sign the Apocalypse is nigh.

World peace would probably be something He would gladly give if it could be sustained. However, because He blessed us with free will, forcing us to keep peace would be taking that away from us. And God doesn't want to be hypocritical, does He?
-
assuming an entity that could be labeled 'god' exists, AND evil (such as the lack of world peace) exists, then the only conclusion is that god is not omnipotent, omnibenevolent, and omnipresent
-
because it is not what the prophacy foretells. it states that in the end there is to be even more death and fighting than we already see. imagine iran being nuked. now imagine that being the whole world. there you go. thats what is going to happen in the end.

How do you know he doesn't answer them? God is a powerful being, but maybe he is trying to teach us something by not simply fixing everything over night. It is like discipline, if he fixed every mistake we ever made the instant we made it, we would never learn anything from it. Listen to the song 'Unanswered prayers'. Garth Brooks.

He's God, not a miracle worker!

world peace is a joke as long as humans are on this planet. America gets a lot of heat on this topic but its not Americans it's human beings all together, we suck! as long as there is a person in a power position he or she will always put his or her intrests ahead of all else. we are self centered beings and that will never change, no matter how many people you hear speaking of equality or peace, if they were in a power position nothing would happen.
-
This is a hypothetical question. If god were real, then he would anwser these prayers. He doesn't, so he's not real
-
It's obviously not part of His plan. Do I know what his plan is? No.

(Mat 10:34) Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword. There will never be peace in the world, all we can do is try and live at peace with each other. (Rom 12:18) If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men.
-
He gave us free will and look what we did with it...it's up to us to fix it and not Him besides sometimes it's NO
-
My parents are real, but they let me stumble and fall, make my own mistakes and earn the things I truly wanted. Maybe a higher power respects the free will we've been given and is waiting for us to get off our knees and into action.

According to christian mythology, he did bring peace on earth once, and then promised to never do it again. The story of Noah's ark, when he smited all but noah's family (and 2 of every animal). The only way to bring lasting peace on earth would be to kill every living creature on it.
-
The intention of this reality is not peace, but division and competition.

God does listen, but nothing will happen until God is ready to cleanse the earth of wickedness... (Psalm 37:9) For evildoers themselves will be cut off, But those hoping in Jehovah are the ones that will possess the earth. (Psalm 37:11) But the meek ones themselves will possess the earth, And they will indeed find their exquisite delight in the abundance of peace. (Psalm 37:29) The righteous themselves will possess the earth, And they will reside forever upon it. (Psalm 37:34) Hope in Jehovah and keep his way, And he will exalt you to take possession of the earth. When the wicked ones are cut off, you will see [it].

Everything you ask has been answered and granted.

How do you know he doesn't answer those prayers? But, I don't think that there are as a many people praying for peace as you might think. Jesus himself told us that we would have the peace that passes ALL understanding, if we chose to follow Him. He never promised peace in the sense that the world talks about, He never asked us to pray for the type of "peace" that the world talks about. In fact He claimed that in the world you will "have tribulation", "but be of good cheer, for I have overcome the world." No, most people these days are busy praying for jobs, or for their sick relatives or their children, or even asking for a new car. So, God is real, don't get fooled into thinking He isn't just because there is no "peace"

Maybe hes too busy looking after the other millions of galaxaies that he apparently created.
