I once told a new roommate that we needed to hop in his car (I didn't have one at the time) and drive up to the mouth of a nearby canyon. He looked at me kind of strange and asked why. I told him because that was where the end of the rainbow was and that I would split the pot of gold with him. He just chuckled and decided not to take me up there. Ah well, I guess I didn't really need the gold any way. ;-)

lol no iv never been, but sorry to burst ur buble.. but its impossable to get to the end of the rainbowand im sure if there would be a pot of gold just laying around, it would be long gone by now :P

I did reach the end of a giant cardboard rainbow, and found a very gay man at the end of it. He was handing out leaflets about equal rights for gays. Lovely man, but he said sorry, no gold. I was heart broken

Yes, once, but no pot of gold ! The trouble is that as you actually go to where the rainbow wnds it dissapears ... take a few steps back and it's there again. So it's a wee bit difficult to locate the exact spot where the rainbow ends and the pot of gold is hidden :-(

ON A MORE SERIOUS NOTE, YES, I'VE ACTUALLY BEEN @ THE END OF A RAINBOW !! AN EX-GIRLFRIEND AND I DROVE UP TO KINGS CYN. NATL. PARK IT WAS SUNNY AND CLOUDY, IT HAD BEEN RAINING A LITTLE EARLIER BUT WAS NOW JUST SPRINKLING OFF AND ON. I PULLED OVER AND WE GOT OFF THE CAR TO GO LOOK DOWN AT THE KINGS RIVER FROM A VISTA POINT IN THE CYN. ALONG THE SIDE OF THE ROAD. WE NOTICED A RAINBOW JUST A SHORT WAYS UP CYN. THEN ALL OF A SUDDEN WE WERE ABLAZE WITH ALL THE COLORS OF THE RAINBOW. 360 DEGREES, EVERYWHERE I LOOKED FROM ALL DIRECTIONS, FROM THE GROUND UP LOOKING INTO THE SKY WE WERE ABLAZE IN HUGE WIDE BANDS OF ALL THE COLORS OF THE RAINBOW PRISM. BRIGHT, BRIGHT SPECTACULAR COLORS, IT WAS A MIRACULOUS EXPERIENCE I'LL ALWAYS CHERISH AND NEVER FORGET !!!!! HGR
