Help answer this question below.
I would say about a 8-9 for me.
I write long answers, especially in the Holocaust section. I try my best to make them legible and, due to my dyslexia, this can be a bit of a bother.
11. I'm a proofreading fiend. In other words, "Anal" LOL
I'd rate myself at a 9.5. I'm pretty anal and often post-edit as well if I see a mistake.
Oh yes about 9. Don't want other's to know how bad I spell : )
Maybe about five...
I usually notice mistakes before posting. But then again, I just answered a question with the word 'techer', so a bit of editing was done.
And yesterday I posted a comment with honestly every word spelled wrong.
Before submitting - 5
After submitting - 9
I would have to say a solid 10, 10 being the most thoroughly (because some people think 1 is the highest).
Correctness of grammar and spelling is very important to me. The only grammatical rules I ever knowing break when posting are (1) ending sentences with prepositions, although I avoid it, (2) starting sentences with conjuctions, and (3) using "they", "them", etc. instead of "he/she", "him/her", etc. for the neutral, generic gender sense.
Kevin's goes to eleven.
9
Eleven, usually, since I hold others to a high standard. :o)
9.
I find myself editing often after posting, until I'm happy with the result.
Five. Are we supposed to do that?
Ha ha, 10! Mostly for spelling mistakes and all, as for how much sense what I'm submitting goes, maybe like, -7. XD
Still, I always reread over everything to make sure I included all my points, and will often edit the same answer like three times if I forgot something, or if I need to take something out. Sometimes I drag on longer then it needs to be, so I remind myself to just get to the point lol. And capital letters piss me off, my shift key on the keyboard is like dead so you need to press extra hard, I often need to go back and re-capitalize something.

4, I don't really care that much. I figure it's not English class, I can make some mistakes here and there.
Every time and even then I miss some, I also go back even after some time and do some corrections.
Ya see i just went back to proof read this and realised I didn't scale as requested....9.
In my viewpoint, I'm probably about an 8. I try to proofread as I type. And when I think I miss, I"ll go back and check again. Even then, sometimes I miss. But before the next answer/comment comes up(Or what I feel), I'll try to go back and edit the answer/comment. I can type really fast, but my brain(for hand-eye coordination) can't possibly keep up a lot of times.
I use a spell checker...
Okay, it does not find all errors!
Oh dear, Im afraid Im on a "-" all the way! Type, scan and submit and only after it read through again!
I would give myself a 7.
Ten. That's my reputation going out there for the whole world to see, I don't want to give them something to laugh at.
i proof read about 9.5 out of 10, but i choose to ignore alot these days, like proper grammar, i only really care about spelling. depends on the seriousness of the post
2 or 3
-o
Meh, like a 2.....I hate proofreading, and i was no good in English LOL
5-6.
I look at the keys when I type, and don't catch all the mistakes as they pop up.
I always try to use correct spelling and punctuation. Some people don't use commas or periods. Also, this is not a cell phone, so enough with the text messaging abbreviations! It is a little pet peeve of mine.
if i'm stoned it's real hard to see any mistakes or care.6-7.
About a 6 or 7. I should do better.
I'd say 9.8.
I think I've caught all of my unintentional typos and misspellings but I have missed a few word omissions because of the time limits for editing.
7.
About 11.5. And I still don't catch everything the first time, and will go back and edit grammar/spelling later. It's usually bad if I'm really tired and up too late. I guess having "Conan the Grammarian" as a father made me so anal! LOL!
