NO!! Do not remove your jewelrey for up to 6 to 8 weeks!! This can cause infection, or for the hole to close. Seeing as you just paid money for that, i doubt you want either of these things to happen. As a matter of fact, even if you did WANT to get rid of it, you would still have to leave it in untill healed before taking it out.

No! Leave it in and keep it very clean and don't mess with it (meaning play with it, you have to move it to clean it properly) If you ask almost anyone that has one or anyone who does the peircings they will tell you it is the most difficult to heal. Don't take that puppy out until it is completely healed or it is unbareably in infected and you've decided to just let it close up. Beaware of laundrty baskets too. Lol, for some reason when we carry thm they brush up against the belly ring and will get inflamed almost everytime. :) (happened to me all of the time)

Leave it in and watch out for blankets that have strings around the edges or holes or certain clothes i got mine ripped out two days after getting it pierced bc it caught on something in my sleep and i lost it but i was lucky n it didnt grow up or get infected
