I do not have any boxes checked off on my 'preference' page as I do not want to be emailed everytime I have any activity on my responses, questions etc. Yet I am emailed everytime I am rated or get a comment. How can I stop AB from doing this?

When you submit a new question, there is a checkbox that appears below it that defaults to "yes" called "Email me....". Uncheck that box.

I have the exact same problem! HUNDREDS of emails! Plus, get this - my inbox always brings in two of the same email for some reason. So DOUBLE the damn things! I have decided to create a new hotmail account, and change my email address on here to that. That way, all the emails can go there! It seems to be the only way to fix it...

when you recieve the e mails you do not want.. go to bottom of that same page and click on where it says to stop getting these e mails click here.. maybe that will work for you.. let me know ok.. Good Luck !! :)
