Yes, Jack! 'A' force has been mightily shaken ... but 'THE' force is strong as ever! Although I am about to literally leave for our son's wedding in Colombia ~~ May 8 - 24, 2008 ~~ and will be off-line ... I will be leaving AB after I return! I want to maturely weigh this decision since I have been a member here for thousands upon thousands of hours and really have come to literally love some of its members! I will take this month and virtually get over the current AB 'madness.' It would be one element if everyone really did 'just keep it' to Answers & Questions as the site and rules purport, but that isn't the case, now is it? It just goes to show all of us there isn't a 'real' ability to be objective since everyone has their own subjective take on what objective is! It is fair to say there is ALWAYS two sides to every story. Interestingly, beloved and I have literal 25 years of studying cooperation. Last year we decided a new 'challenge' for ourselves in our quest for just that: even better cooperation! (We already do it beautifully!) Anyway: we decided to literally practice THAT BOTH SIDES MUST BE VIEWED, FELT and ACCREDITED AS 'RIGHT' during any and all debates between us. In a society which and who 'believes' there MUST BE a loser for every winner, we wondered how our turning that around would look and feel like. Well, its been a very interesting journey! EACH of us have had those feelings of 'I want to be the MORE right, winner dragons' rise up! (BTW: WE never ever get that hot in debate.) So, being 'RIGHT' still has a lot of power to create real damage, regardless of history, eh? We're still playing at this not only for relationship sake, but challenging anything that creates disharmony is in part my/our mission whether that's at home or not. As far as AB goes: I am not well enough to ever deal with any Drama (I literally do not have it in my real life), let alone on a web page guarded by what I perceive as individual weaklings and not the 'leader' role models I was oh so hoping all of us could be and aspire to. Needless to say, I am incredibly disappointed. Recently I was locked down for an 'inappropriate' question and received a somewhat 'threatening' e-mail kinda to cease and desist sending out emails re: AB. Whatever. I am a firm practitioner of cooperative fair play; I was 'bad' here as well and regret it only for disappointment in myself for stooping so stupidly low. What I don't like is the MARLENE who allows herself to play any personality contest! It goes against my true belief that each and every human being IS valuable and in need of MORE love, regardless of their [inappropriate] mood or stance. Goes to show ME that I am still not totally recovered from the very real trauma of lung cancer and its surgery. (That isn't an excuse whatsoever.)
